The best thing you can do is to learn how to eat correctly. Eat more often, clean & unprocessed foods, lots of water and exercise daily. Lean meats-chicken (no breading or skin), turkey, lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, no sugar, no salt, no white flour and drink water-lots of it!Move your body as often as possible-bike, walk, run, rollerblade, swim, etc. Dance around your house every chance you get. Make it fun! Your 14, so enjoy yourself! Play basketball, frisbee, walk your dog, etc. Just move! You can do it! 8 months ago thank you

- Chosen by Voters Since you are going to an outdoorsy place and I assume you will be doing outdoorsy things, you can take a tinted moisturizer with SPF!! It will give you light, natural coverage AND will protect your face from the sun! And if you really feel it is necessary you can bring mascara (waterproof in case of rain/water activities).Hope I helped! 2 years ago 100% 1 Vote

The low light challenge will be for your lens' and not the camera. A "fast" lens is better suited for low light. Having said that, you can still use what you have if you practice. Go out at night and practice shooting cars and city lights to find where your camera has the best results. Use the highest ISO you can live with (how much grain is too much to your liking). Shoot under several lighting situations (take notes if you have to, for example; use a 3 level system, keep notes for very dark light, medium light, and ok light. Try to get close to the subject you are photographing because when you zoom the aperture will close and thus let less light in. Go ahead and use the "on camera" flash if you are close (once again practice this to find out how close is too close for your liking). The flash will have a very limited effective range but if you are close enough it should work as a fill light. Once on location position yourself where you might have similar lighting conditions that you practiced on. The key to photography is to know your gear and to be able to anticipate the results and then bieng able to adjust for the result you want. To do this you must shoot, shoot, shoot a lot. 1 year ago thanks

Hello Troy,Only a few are needed:1. Keep your mouth shut. Don't call attention to yourself.2. Keep your ears open. Listen to everything that goes on around you. You learn by the mistakes of others. Even when they are getting hollered at; you pay attention. Drill Instructors like to make an example of everybody in his own time. Better to be hollered on for a new goof then to be hollered on because you didn't listen to when the other guy made a mistake.3. Do everything he/she tells you to do without hesitation. You don't need to know why? Just do it.4. Don't whine and complain that it is too hard to do. Thousands have done it before you. So you can too.5. In your bunk the first night away from home: Don't cry! Just go to sleep. 4 A.M. will come soon enough.Best wishes,Larry SmithSenior Master Sergeant, USAF (Ret.)First Sergeant Source(s): Previous military experience of 27 years: 1961 – 1989 11 months ago Thank you so much.

- Chosen by Voters *Practice all the basics of motions. Practice any cheers and chants you know, but focus on your motions by looking in the mirror making sure you are doing them each correctly. Look at the position of your fists, the placement of your arms, and make sure your arms are tight. If you keep doing it wrong, do them over until you get it right.*Practice jumps. Practice your jumps with pointed toes. Point your toes when you stretch and whenever you do jumps so that it will become easier. Jump straight up and down with pointed toes as high as you can about 10 times everyday to get more height in your jumps.*Stretch everyday. Flexibility is very important in cheerleading. If you are flexible, you can do a lot of things that cheerleaders can do. Do leg stretches, arms stretches and back stretches.*Build strength in your arms, legs and abs. Do ab workouts about 2-3 times a week so that you don't over work them. For all your exercises, start out with a small number like 10, then gradually move up when it gets easier.Good luck at camp!

- Chosen by Voters I'm a dad and I can relate, especially when it comes to leaving our children with (trustworthy) babysitters. But you have to let go sometimes, because:- Your child will be better off by being around other people;- I find that being apart from them makes me look forward to being around them more; and- You can't control everything, and it's not healthy to tryAs you undoubtedly know, bad things can happen even when your child is with you. Do what you can, within reason, to prevent bad things from happening, and to prepare in case they do. After that, there isn't much more you can do except worry needlessly. Better to practice letting go now, because kids grow up fast! Some camps have a uniform, others a general dress code. You need to find out more before any more 'answers' are to be of any real use to you.Best regards. 7 months ago 2 people rated this as good well i really don't know anything yet that much about the camp yet but it is called sor (school of rock i think) anyways thanks so much for answering! =)
